![]() The consensus reached being that this was built in creative then converted to hardcore. This was just posted in the scicraft discord channel in the last hour, and promptly started a (one sided) debate on it's (lack of) authenticity. Please enjoy, what I believe to be my master creation, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask! I'll do my best to answer them. With this farm being finished though, I think I'm gonna take a break from Minecraft and enjoy my birthday without this farm luring in the shadows. So, after signing up and following groups that sounded interesting, this is actually be my first post. When I finished the farm, my friend told me to post my farm on Reddit, a site that I had only heard of by ear. And, as a result, this farm damages both the MSPT and TPS. The perimeter is 34 chunks by 34 chunks and utilizes 94 slime chunks. At full efficiency (and with the help of some Carpet Bots) this farm produces over 3,000,000 drops an hour. With the help of Litematica, building the collection system was a breeze and a mini-storage system was a breeze. So, after I finished the perimeter and nether portal, it was time to update to 1.16 (I realized a bit later on that it was wise not to update to 1.16.1 due to piston lag). Fortunately, the shulker box loaders did not change as much as I thought they would, and the changes were fairly simple. It was never my intention to stay on 1.12.2, for the Slime Farm worked best on much later versions. I had finished around the time the new Redstone changes were released to 1.16 and I found out that the collection system I was going to use (based on Scicraft's) wasn't going to work, meaning I would have to design the collection system. Unfortunately, these factors took longer than expected. I was genuinely concerned my computer was going to explode sometimes. However, the update suppression alone nearly destroyed my computer. Because the perimeter, bedrock breaking, and update suppression was so monstrous, I had done all of those things in 1.12.2 for the "best" performance. Words cannot describe how happy and joyful I am to have finished this project. I would be lying if I said this wasn't a giant birthday gift. And today almost marks a year since that video released. ![]() With my birthday coming up so soon, I had decided to take on a birthday challenge of sorts: to make the ultimate, most efficient slime farm. On September 12, 2019, ilmango posted a YouTube video showcasing a single-chunk slime farm capable of achieving rates of 36,000 slimeballs an hour.
